Aquarium Learning
EXPECTATIONS
Aquarium Learning App
New York Aquarium is the oldest continuously operating aquarium in the United States, located in New York City. There are 350 types of marine life in the aquarium, including 18 kinds of sharks and ray fish. The project aims to establish a connection between travelers and the ocean, by focusing on field research conducted near the waters of New York.
As a result of this project, I hope that visitors to the aquarium will gain a better understanding of fish. As a matter of fact, the goal of this project is more to allow visitors to understand the creatures of the marine world and to retain them in their minds. The effectiveness of this app will depend on whether visitors use it during their tour.

Design & Layout
The overall design of the APP is determined to be based on the blue ocean theme, which is in line with the style of the New York Aquarium. For the main demonstration cases, Tosakin and Siamese Fighting Fish were selected after screening the biological species in the museum.
There are two functions to the system. The first one is navigation guidance. Visitors can get confused by simple flat navigation, so choosing a fish to guide them can also be fun. A second benefit is that visitors can learn about each fish and see their appearance up close.
The aquarium will provide cards of different marine life in each area, so the visitors will scan each card to understand the knowledge of the creature.
The visitors can see the shape of the fish close up. Also, there is an introduction at the bottom of the screen, so they can know more information about each fish.
