Experience
My research on virtual reality technology in the medical industry showed that it has great potential for reducing children's anxiety. Therefore, this project aimed to reduce anxiety in children with CHD using virtual reality technology. With the help of picture books and virtual reality, adventure stories can reduce children's anxiety levels.
Bird Library
Floor Plan
Currently, the Bird Library is Syracuse University's largest library. However, because the Bird Library offers so many functions, it sometimes leaves students feeling confused, since it satisfies all their needs. As part of this project, we are developing a way-finding kiosk to facilitate users' (especially SU students') experience of finding services and books at Bird Library, as well as some information about them.
Inclusive Capsule
In order to address the future of transportation from an inclusive design perspective, it’s critical to first gain a broad understanding of various forms of disability. To address this challenge, our design seeks to accommodate both power and manual wheelchair users to effectively address their mobility needs.
Using design thinking in a people-centered manner. With my work, I strive to integrate the tangible product design thinking and practices of the past into the intangible human-machine digital world, in order to create more efficient and interesting life possibilities for people around us.
