Trip App
It may have happened to you that you looked at beautiful pictures on the Internet before visiting a tourist attraction. In the end, it didn't look as fantastic as it did in the pictures, it was disappointing.
The technology of virtual reality is a relatively new and still developing technology. Immersive video is 360 videos shot with a 360-degree camera to create 360-degree footage. As opposed to 2D videos, 360 videos allow us to see the surrounding images as well as to feel immersed while wearing VR glasses (360-degree video, 2020).

Goal
Designing a travel application
In order to allow tourists to judge whether the travel destination meets their needs, I will design an immersive travel application. It can not only help tourists judge but also help people who cannot travel long distances to travel online.
This app will use insta360 One R as a tool for shooting 360 videos and will combine with DJI drones to shoot long-distance videos. Prototyping will use Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere as post-processing tools.

Scene Demo
The current prototype still has a lot of functional imperfections, such as route planning and trip classification based on user preferences. It will also be challenging to develop the app in the future if we conduct more field testing. The following views show the scene immersive experience and application demo.
